Charo, Janice lead 70th Famas award winners

Charo Santos won the Best Actress award for the Waray-language film, 'Kun Maupay Man It Panahon' at the 70th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (Famas) Awards, held at the Metropolitan Theater on July 30.

The seasoned actress and top brass media executive recalled in her speech that she was only a movie fan growing up and could hardly believe she was receiving a trophy that night just like her idols.
