Negros bus sector ready for in-person classes

BACOLOD CITY: The Negros-based Vallacar Transit Inc. (VTI) said it has enough bus units to serve the riding public ahead of the opening of classes and the resumption of face-to-face classes on August 22.

Jade Seballos, VTI media relations officer, in a radio interview, said they are waiting for the decision of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board on their request to deploy additional bus units based on the allowed number as some towns and cities they serve remain under a Covid-19 Alert Level 2 status.
