IMUS CITY, Cavite: The national kickoff of the yearly 'Brigada Eskwela' will be held at the Imus Pilot Elementary School in Barangay Poblacion today, August 1, with Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio as guest of honor.

Brigada Eskwela is the annual public school activity nationwide wherein students, parents, teachers, and civic groups work together and prepare the school premises for the opening of classes in the coming year. This year's Brigada Eskwela has the theme 'Tugon sa Hamon sa Pagbabalik Eskwela,' for the opening of classes on August 22 and the effective delivery of quality education for everyone.
