'BTS may be able to perform while on military service'

SEOUL: K-pop sensations BTS may be allowed to continue performing and preparing for international concerts even while they fulfill their mandatory military service in South Korea, the country's defense chief said on Monday.

All able-bodied South Korean men 30 years old and younger must perform about two years of military service, mainly due to the fact that the East Asian nation remains technically at war with nuclear-armed North Korea.
