Cool Smashers end elims on high note

CREAMLINE blanked Black Mamba Army, 25-20, 25-22, 25-16, to end its elimination round campaign with three straight wins in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Centre on Saturday.

With the victory over the Lady Troopers, the semifinals-bound Cool Smashers also finished with a 5-1 win-loss card to take the top spot albeit it hardly matters in the round robin semis where all teams are back to zero.
