KABAYAN party-list Rep. Ron Salo urged the House Committee on Health to review the national anti-dengue program, saying a record-high increase of 90 percent over the same period last year is alarming, putting children at greater risk of death.
In his House Resolution 79, Salo noted that the increase in dengue cases this year is alarming. As such, he is urging the House Committee on Health to conduct such an investigation. This is especially important given that last year saw the lowest number of reported dengue cases since 2009.
