Villar Group Chairman Manny Villar was conferred Doctor of Laws, Honoris Causa, by the Universidad de Manila (UdM) during its 24th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City. In receiving the award, Villar thanked the officials, faculty and the entire UdM community, especially its former head, Malou Tiquia, and its current president, Ma. Felma Carlos-Tria.
