Fighting Human Trafficking 1343 at a Time

The Philippines has successfully retained its Tier 1 ranking in the 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report recently released by the US Department of State on July 19.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the Philippines has had the Tier 1 ranking. It is a recognition that the Philippines continues to meet fully the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking in persons, considered modern-day slavery, under the US Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000.
