PH team leaves for World Chess Olympiad

THE country's top chess masters arrived in Chennai, India on Wednesday, July 27, to compete in the 44th World Chess Olympiad from July 29 to August 10.

The national men's team is composed of Grandmasters Rogelio 'Banjo' Barcenilla Jr., Mark Paragua, Darwin Laylo and John Paul Gomez and International Master Paulo Bersamina and coached by GM Eugene Torre.
