Ukrainian forces strike strategic bridge in Kherson

KYIV: Kyiv's troops have struck a critical bridge essential for Russia to supply its forces occupying the country's south as Moscow pounded several areas in Ukraine with rocket and artillery strikes.

The Ukrainian military struck the Antonovsky Bridge across the Dnieper River on Tuesday night, said Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the Moscow-appointed administration for the Kherson region.
