PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. took off for Abra early Thursday to personally assess damage and check on relief efforts following the 7.0-magnitude that jolted the province the day before.
"This morning, at past 8 a.m., the President took off for Abra to check the situation, inspect the damage and be briefed on the rescue and relief efforts there," Press Secretary Rose Beatrix "Trixie" Cruz-Angeles said in a statement.
