'Lyric and Beat' celebrates Jonathan Manalo's musicality

Jonathan Manalo, the — prolific and multi-awarded songwriter, composer, arranger and record producer — is one of the most respected and celebrated music personalities in the Philippines today.

A recipient of the inaugural SUDI National Music Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in 2021, he first emerged in the local music scene when he won 2001's 'JAM: Himig Handog sa Makabagong Kabataan' for the now-iconic song 'Tara Tena.'
