THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) must begin its preparations for the midterm elections in 2025 even as it prepares for the barangay and Sanguniang Kabataan elections which are scheduled for December this year.
The poll body had already declared that it will no longer use the existing vote counting machines (VCM) used in the last three electoral exercises owing to age. Will it consider other election technologies or stick with the same optical mark reader technology?
