LA PAZ, Abra Mayor Joseph Bernos said that Abra sustained "extensive" damage as a result of the Magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck the province Wednesday morning.
A separate statement from the office of Abra Rep. Ching Bernos said that the tremors "caused damage to many households and establishments".
