Senate, House open session

THE 19th Senate officially opened on Monday with the election of Sen. Juan Miguel 'Migz' Zubiri as Senate president.

Most of his colleagues who nominated Zubiri for the Senate's top post described him as the 'trabahador' (worker) of the Senate. He was the Senate majority leader in the 18th Senate.
