WIDELY known for its 'power' utility vehicles and commercial trucks, Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) is now looking at sustainability as a major motive for its business activities starting this year.

Currently celebrating its 25th year of operations in the Philippines, Isuzu announced a major shift in sourcing energy for its factory in Binan, Laguna by utilizing solar energy. The company said it will source energy requirements from solar farms in Pampanga and Bataan to reduce its carbon footprint. IPC will also install solar panels in the factory that will cover 22 percent of the complex's energy needs.
