PSEi down 0.86% at start of the week

THE Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) declined by 53.86 points on Monday to close at 6,209.53.

According to Claire Alviar, research associate at Philstocks Financial Inc., most investors were in a wait-and-see mode in anticipation of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s first State of the Nation Address and the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee meeting on July 27.
