Governor: Probe case of 'missing' detainees

SARANGANI: Gov. Ruel Pacquiao has ordered an investigation of the disappearance of 19 inmates or persons deprived of liberty who had been allowed to go outside the provincial jail without court orders.

Pacquiao over the weekend said during his surprise visit to the provincial jail, Emmanuel Sales, Sarangani jail warden, was unable to explain why he allegedly permitted the 19 detainees to leave the jail.
