b>NAGTIPUNAN, Quirino: Around 2,000 indigenous Bugkalot and Ilongot folk in the provinces of Quirino, Aurora, and Nueva Vizcaya trooped to Landingan village here on Saturday, July 23, as they celebrated their first Bugkalot-Ilongot Day with the theme "Strengthening Unity among the Bugkalot/Ilongot Ancestral Domain Holders" and promoted their heritage.
The day was the actual receipt of the indigenous folk of their Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT) six years ago of their 212,773.4679-hectare ancestral domain land in Nagtipunan in Quirino Province, Maria Aurora and Dipaculao in Aurora Province, and Dupax Del Norte, Kasibu, Dupax Del Sur and Alfonso Castaneda, all in Nueva Vizcaya.
