PNP told: Stay alert for Marcos SONA following Ateneo shooting

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is directed to further tighten its security measures ahead of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s first State of the Nation Address (SONA), Malacañang said Monday.

In a chance interview at the Batasan Complex in Quezon City, Press Secretary Rose Beatrix 'Trixie' Cruz-Angeles said that law enforcement agencies 'are put on notice' following the shooting incident that left three persons dead, including former Lamitan, Basilan mayor Rose Furigay.
