VARIOUS labor organizations said they were prepared to engage in a social dialogue with the new administration to help address various labor issues that continuously oppress Filipino workers.
Workers' groups under the Nagkaisa Labor Coalition said issues that need to be tackled, either in bilateral or tripartite levels, include contractualization, abusive contractual arrangements, improving wages and benefits, freedom of association, and promoting occupational safety and health in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
