BAGUIO CITY: Some P100,000 worth of toxic beauty and skin care products were confiscated in the city during inventory and seizure operation by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Regional Field Office Cordillera, the Regulatory Enforcement Unit North Luzon Cluster, and the city government on Wednesday, July 20.
The cosmetics products of different brands were found to contain dangerous levels of mercury and were reportedly being sold in various shops in four different locations in the city.
