A MEMBER of the New People's Army (NPA) was slain in a clash with government troops in Agusan del Sur on Friday, a ranking official said on Saturday.
In a statement, the commanding officer of the 65th Infantry Battalion (65IB) Lt. Col. Emerson de Vera, said the remains of the unidentified slain rebel were left by his fleeing comrades in a 15-minute gun battle in Sta. Cruz, Sibagat.
