VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio will wear a traditional dress from the Bagobo Tagabawa tribe of Davao City for the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
Duterte-Carpio's spokesman, lawyer Reynold Munsayac, said she will depart from the traditional Filipiniana dress worn by female guests. Instead, she will wear the traditional dress to honor her fellow Bagobo tribe of Davao City.
