THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is set to evacuate more than 100 Filipinos in Sri Lanka once the Sri Lankan government approves the request of the Philippine government for landing rights for a sweeper flight.

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Eduardo de Vega on Tuesday, July 19, said 115 Filipinos residing in Sri Lanka have agreed to return to the Philippines amid the ongoing economic crisis there.
