Pag-IBIG Fund finances 8,471 socialized homes

GOVERNMENT-OWNED Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) reported funding 8,471 socialized homes in the first half of this year for its low-wage and low-income members, amounting to P3.67 billion.

It said in a statement on Friday that from January to June 2022, 19 percent of all housing loans funded by the agency were socialized home loans. The sum, meanwhile, accounts for 7 percent of all home loans issued by the organization throughout the said period.
