PHILIPPINE shares dropped on Thursday as the country faces more cases of the coronavirus and infections of the Omicron subvariants.

The 30-member Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) declined 18.63 points, or 0.30 percent, to close at 6,256.17, while the broader all shares index went up by 0.33 points, or 0.01 percent, to finish at 3,381.86.
