PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., following the Philippine National Women's Football Team's historic win in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women's Championship, vowed to step up government support for athletes.
The Chief Executive, who also hailed the karateka Junna Tsukii's gold medal performance in the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States more than a week ago, made the commitment during the Filipinas' courtesy visit to Malacañang on Wednesday afternoon.
