THE Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund (CDAF) of the United States (US) Department of State (DOS) gave a $10,000 grant to Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) for rural community training program on village-scale nipa technology in Ilocos region.
According to MMSU information officer Daniel Tapaoan Jr., the university for the third time has received a CDAF grant, and this year, for the university to train and organize underemployed rural residents to collect and process nipa sap.
