Globe sees 5G boosting econ growth

GLOBE Telecoms sees the 5G technology it is offering nationwide boosting Philippine economic growth and recovery, as well as fueling the country's transition toward 'Industry 4.0.'

In a statement, Globe explained that with faster speeds, lower latency, higher bandwidth and more reliable internet connectivity, 5G (fifth generation) is a must-have platform for the shift to Industry 4.0, or the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
