Bill improving wi-fi in remote schools filed

SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian filed Senate Bill 383 that seeks to speed up the digital transformation of the basic education sector.

The senator, in a statement on Tuesday, said 'education in the new normal will utilize a mix of face-to-face classes, online learning, and other modalities.' He said that this is crucial 'to ensure learning continuity even amid disasters and other calamities.'
