Cordillera autonomy needs boost

BAGUIO CITY: Cordillera leaders, autonomy advocates and concerned sectors in the region must start a signature campaign at the grassroots level to support their quest for autonomy. This will also send a strong message to President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to certify as urgent the proposed autonomy bill.

Kalinga Rep. Allen Jesse Mangaoang, in his solidarity message during the celebration of the 35th founding anniversary of the Cordillera Administrative Region at the Baguio Convention Center on Friday, underscored that there is no stopping Cordillerans from reminding the central government of the need to establish the autonomous region.
