(UPDATE) ACTING Senate President Pro Tempore Juan Miguel 'Migz' Zubiri on Friday, July 15, urged President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to convene the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (Ledac) to discuss the direction and request of the executive branch in terms of legislation, including proposals to rightsize government as the 19th Congress opens on July 25.

'I shall seek clarification first with the DBM (Department of Budget and Management) and the DoF (Department of Finance) before I make any further comment on rightsizing,' Zubiri said in a text message.
