It all began when Ben Farrales' relative Cynthia Pendatun donated some 40 pieces of the late Dean of Philippine Fashion's ternos and evening gowns to the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. It was intentionally for the safekeeping and preservation of these artifacts of local fashion history.

Filipiniana displays a
one-shouldered sari-like
accent and a bodice with
embroidered gold trim.
A Grecian-inspired
blue and chartreuse
Terno made with chiffon
achieve such soft drapes
from bust to hem.
