THE Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) declined for the fourth straight day by 52.87 points, or 0.85 percent, on Friday to settle at 6,195.26.

According to analysts, this came as worries over the United States' high inflation and the possible aggressive policy response by the Federal Reserve (Fed) remained weighing on sentiment.
