Jose Rizal University proved to be steadier down the stretch and defeated San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R) in five sets, 25-21, 18-25, 22-25, 25-20, 15-9, to enter the final phase of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 97 women's volleyball stepladder semifinals at the Filoil Flying V Center on Friday.
