Misamis killing tied to drug deal

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: An unsettled 'illegal drug' transaction was the motive for the recent killing of four persons in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, a senior police officer said on Thursday.

Col. Raniel Valones, Misamis Oriental provincial police director, said the four victims, who included two minors (not one as previously reported), were gunned down in the outskirts of Villanueva on July 12, 2022.
