Kidapawan bans tarps with politicians' faces

THE local chief executive of Kidapawan City, North Cotabato, has barred all local elected and appointed public officials from putting up tarpaulins with their faces in all government-funded projects in the city.

Mayor Jose Paolo Evangelista on Tuesday said Executive Order (EO) 5, which became effective on July 1, is based on Republic Act 6713, or the 'Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.'
