DAVAO CITY: A ranking leader of the communist New People's Army (NPA) facing criminal charges was arrested by operatives from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at La Filipina in Tagum City, Davao del Norte on Wednesday morning, July 13.
LtCol. Milgrace Driz, CIDG provincial unit head, said the suspected NPA leader identified only as alias "Dodong" used to be the commanding officer of the NPA Front Committee 27, operating within Davao de Oro.
