ALBAY Second District Rep. Jose Maria Clemente "Joey" Salceda has refiled a bill which seeks to make certain digital services subject to value-added tax (VAT).
Salceda, who refiled the proposal as House Bill (HB) 372 on June 30, said that digital services that can be imposed VAT include digital advertising, subscription-based services, and other online services that can be delivered through the internet.
