Veteran and award-winning actor Tirso Cruz 3rd was sworn in as the new chairperson and chief executive of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) on July 5. He is set to begin his mandate once Malacañang Palace releases his official papers, placing outgoing Chairman Mary Liza Diño on a hold-over capacity to ensure the continuity of the agency's meritorious operations.
