BASIC Environmental Systems Technologies Inc. (BEST) is teaming up with US-based Stellar3 LLC to develop waste-to-energy (WtE) projects in the Philippines, including the establishment of a number of WtE manufacturing hubs in the country.
In a statement, the company said a letter of intent to form a joint venture agreement with Stellar3 has been concluded. The deal aims to develop the Philippines as a leading technology hub for WtE technologies in Asia-Pacific and to address the new administration's priority programs as demanded by a rapidly growing economy.
