P&G Philippines helps Red Cross with mobile vax clinics

RED Cross Philippines (PRC) has vaccinated over 52,000 vulnerable individuals — more than three times its initial target of 15,000 individuals in the Calabarzon area. Thanks to the buses transformed into mobile vaccination clinics by Procter & Gamble (P&G).

In September 2021, P&G donated over P5 million to fund PRC's Covid-19 Mobile Vaccination Clinics, popularly known as 'Bakuna Buses.' The initiative prioritizes reaching highly vulnerable Filipinos who find it difficult to go to LGU vaccination sites, which include senior citizens, persons with disabilities, bed-ridden patients, and persons with special needs. P&G's support was able to deploy three mobile vaccination mobile clinics to at least 150 villages in the Calabarzon area and has helped inoculate 52,427 individuals — a total of 123,224 Covid-19 doses.
