Malls tapped as poll registration sites

(UPDATE) THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) will use big malls as registration sites for the Sangguniang Kabataan and barangay elections.

Comelec spokesman John Rex Laudiangco said on Thursday that setting up satellite registration sites in malls will not only entice more people to register but will also ease the long lines of registrants in Comelec offices in cities and municipalities.
