THE Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) closed down by 1.44 percent on Thursday as the index corrected lower by 92.69 points to close at 6,352.32.

According to Japhet Tantiangco, senior research analyst at Philstocks Financial Inc., and Luis Limlingan, managing director at Regina Capital Development Corp., investors cashed in on profits from the local market preceding its 4-rally day.
