Is the long commuting nightmare of promdis finally over?

SHOULD we take stock of what seemingly routine and mundane policies of the previous government inflicted terrible harm on ordinary Filipinos, we can readily name the three at the receiving end of the whip and lash: workers, small farmers and provincial commuters.

The suffering of the workers has been fully documented by an international trade union group, which has named the Philippines as one of the Top 10 countries most cruel and violent on the workingman for several consecutive years.
