China to fund Davao River Bridge project

(UPDATED) CHINESE Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian on Tuesday said Beijing has signed a contract with Manila to finance the construction of the 1,340-meter Davao River Bridge in Davao City.

In a Facebook post, Huang said the signing of the commercial contract to construct the bridge is 'another milestone for the Philippine-China G2G (government to government) cooperation.'

The project will adopt the localized implementation mode, which means the Philippine side will be in charge of technical works and project management during the entire process. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
