THREE people were arrested in Binangonan in Rizal province for identity theft by using the profile of no less than Philippine National Police Chief Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., to defraud individuals.

In a statement issued late Monday evening, PNP-Anti Cybercrime Group Officer-in-Charge BGen. Bowenn Joey Masauding said the suspects will be facing criminal charges for violation of RA 8484 (Access Devices Regulation Act) as amended by RA 11449 in relation to Section 6 of RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
