BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: The status of being the "citrus capital of Luzon" has been accorded to Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya where the fruit has been identified as one of its top high-value crops.
Six days before he stepped down as Agriculture chief, Secretary William Dar signed on June 24 the administrative order declaring Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, with 529 hectares planted with Rutaceae or citrus sinensis, as the "Citrus Capital of Luzon".
