'Mother' looks after young and old in Miami

There could not have been a more appropriate name for an organization whose mission is to be of service to mothers – and fathers, too - and help nurture the youth.

NANAY, or the National Alliance to Nurture the Aged and the Youth United States of America, is the brainchild of Dr. Jocelyn 'Joy' Bruce. Inspired by her own mother, Jacinta, who was known as a Good Samaritan, Dr. Bruce embarked on a mission to bring smiles to the elderly by attending to and providing for their social, psychological, emotional and other needs.
